RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's basketball picked up another home win as they defeated St. Olaf College 63-46 Friday night at Don Page Arena.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons started the game out with a jumper by Taylor Karge.
- Bryan Liljander shot a three at 4:30 to start a six point run for the Falcons before Crystal Pearson was called for a foul and gave the Lions a shot to score.
- With 12 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Jaycie Gerding hit a three to give the Falcons a 14-10 lead.
- The Lions started the second quarter with three points but the Falcons would go on a 16 point run.
- Heading into the half the Falcons led 32-19.
- Liljander led the first half with seven points. She was 3-7 from the floor.
- The third quarter was a back and forth battle with each team countering what the other was doing until Jaycie Gerding again closed out the quarter with a 3-point shot to give the Falcons a 46-32 lead.
- The Falcons finished it off in the final quarter only allowing the Lions to get within 12 points while putting up 17.
- In the second half, Taylor Karge put up double digit scoring 10 points. She was 4-8 from the floor and 2-5 from the line. She added six rebounds and one block. Hayley Rau and Crystal Pearson each had five points. Pearson was 1-1 above the arc and 2-2 from the line.

- Taylor Karge led the Falcons with 12 points. She was 5-9 from the floor and had six rebounds.
- Brynn Liljander was close behind with 11 points. She was a 4-4 from the line and was 3-10 from the floor.
- Hayley Rau was 3-5 from the floor with ten points, she also had five rebounds.
- The Falcons saw 17 points from the bench as Jaycie Gerding had nine and Crystal Pearson had eight and six rebounds.
- As a team, UW-River Falls shot 19-45 (42.2 percent) from the floor. The Falcons were 8-20 (40 percent) from the three point line and connected on 17-23 (73.9 percent) from the line.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Lions shot 16-57 (28.1 percent) from the floor and connected on two threes on 19 attempts in the game.
- St. Olaf had two players in double figures. Their leading scorer was Makenna Ash with 14 points on 6-11 shooting. She also was 2-2 from the free throw line.
- Ella Skiren scored 10 points and was 3-4 from the line.
