OSHKOSH, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team took on UW-Oshkosh in Oshkosh Friday evening. The Falcons were able to get two set wins but were not able to finish it in the fifth set falling 2-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-OSHKOSH
- The Titans held the Falcons to single digit points in set one winning 25-9.
- In sets two and four, the Falcons scratched out two close wins winning the first 25-22 and 28-26.
- In the fifth and final set, the Titans got the edge winning 15-12.
- Overall in the match the Falcons hit .120 (41-23-150).
- Dakotah Poitra had a day leading the Falcons in kills with 11 and having nine digs. She also had a pair of blocks and two service aces.
- Hannah Robb dug out a match high 26 digs and had four service aces.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Titan hit .222 (59-24-158) as a team in the match.
- Tina Elstner had an impressive 26 kills in the five sets.
- Defensively Rachel Gardner had 25 digs.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Falcons travel to the University of Northwestern-St Paul for a triangular with the No. 7 Eagles and the Saints of St. Scholastica. The first match is set to begin on Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
