Alice Cranston (River Falls, WI, St. Croix Valley HS) played well for the Falcons in two wins at Finlandia last weekend. With the wins the Falcons won the NCHA regular season championship for the second straight season. Cranston, 5-10, finished the weekend with three goals and two assists. In Friday’s 6-0 win, she scored the hat trick. She scored the first goal of the game at 14:37 of the first period, the team’s third goal at 13:06 of the second period and her third goal at 11:26 of the third period. Her second and third goals were power-play scores. She also had an assist on the team’s second goal. In Saturday’s 8-2 win, she had an assist on the team’s fourth goal that came at 1:49 of the second period.
