RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball team suffered a tough rode loss to No. 13 UW-Oshkosh. The Falcons fell 58-67 in a battle of two nationally ranked teams.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons started out the game with an 11-2 run but the Titans followed with a ten point run of their own taking a 12-11 lead with 10:10 remaining in the half.
- The Titans went on a 19-2 run giving them their biggest lead of the half - 15 points.
- The Titans hit seven threes in the first half and headed into the break up 33-23.
- The second half started with the two teams trading baskets.
- The Falcons trailed 18 points before they pulled within three with 3:46 remaining after going on an 8-3 run.
- The Titans responded with five points and secured the win by shooting 5-6 from the free throw line in the last minute of the game.
IN-DEPTH LOOK
- Brennan Witt scored 11 points on 4-8 shooting. He was 3-3 from the line and added four rebounds.
- Clay Seifert had nine points and five rebounds. He added four assists and two steals to his day.
- Alex Herink had ten rebounds and three steals.
- As a team, the Falcons shot 20-62 (32.2 percent) from the floor and 15-19 (78.9 percent) from the line.
THE OPPOSITION
- Four of the Titans five starters put up double digit points. Ben Boots led the way with seventeen points. He shot 5-13 from the floor, making four of his nine three point shots. He added five rebounds, five assists and two steals.
- Jack Flynn had 13 points and eight rebounds. He was 4-7 from the floor and was 5-6 from the charity stripe.
- Brett Wittchow was 2-4 from beyond the arc and 4-4 from the free throw line for twelve points.
- Adam Fravert had eleven points on 5-14 shooting and recorded nine rebounds.
- From the floor, the Titans shot 20-54 (37.0 percent) and made ten of their 27 three pointers. They were 17-21 (81.0 percent) from the charity stripe.
