ST. PAUL, Minn. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls volleyball team picked up another two nonconference road wins as they traveled to Hamline University for a triangular with Crown College. In the opening match of the night, the Falcons dominated Crown shutting them out in three sets (25-12, 25-14, 25-14) In match two, after falling behind in the first set the Falcons came back to beat the Hamline Pipers in 4 sets 3-1 (22-25, 27-25, 25-18,25-19)

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST CROWN
- The Falcons started out the match in the first set with a six point run before they would win the set 25-12.
- The second set was the nights best set for the Falcons as they hit .423 and won 25-14.
- In the third set, the Falcons had a match high 18 kills and hit .371 which led them to another 25-14 win.
- The Falcons had no trouble against Crown offensively having a season high team hitting percentage of .360. Total the Falcons had 43 kills in 89 total attempts.
- Amara Meyer led the Falcons in kills putting up 11. Karli Nielsen followed behind with 10 and hit .500 in the match.
- Savannah Brauer had a game hitting .429.
- The Falcon defense combined for 45 digs. Sophomore libero Hannah Robb was strong in defense digging out 14 balls. Dakotah Poitra and Hannah Striggow helped her out with eight and seven digs respectively.
- As a team the Falcons out served the Storm combining for ten service aces compared to the Storms two. .
THE OPPOSITION
- The Storm hit .046 and had 20 kills in the match.
- The Storm were led offensively Kohler who had six total kills.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons improved to 5-1 on the season with a 3-1 win over the Pipers if Hamline.
- This was the second time in less than a week that the Falcons have seen the Pipers. Just this last weekend they won in four sets 3-1 at the St. Olaf Invite.
- The Pipers came out on fire handing the Falcons their first set loss of the night 22-25.
- They would keep it close in the second set as the Falcons were at match point before they dropped three straight points to fall behind one. Hamline had a serving error and the Falcons would take advantage of the mistake and win the set 27-25.
- The Falcons combined for a total 54 kills in 154 attempts and out hit the Pipers .195 to .093.
- Karli Nielsen and Amara Meyer combined for 34 total kills in the match each putting up 17.
- Mallory Griffin had a game high 23 assists.
- Defensively Hannah Robb had and impressive 26 digs. Helping her out was Dakotah Poitra with 12 digs and Shania Glenz with 11.
THE OPPOSITION.
- The Pipers were led offensively by Cass Bittle who had eight kills.
- Megan Anderson carried the Pipers defensively getting 18 digs.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Falcons travel to the Macalester Invitational Friday where they take on St. Catherine University. Their first match will begin at 4 p.m.
