RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team started out WIAC play with a well fought 1-1 double overtime tie against UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon at Ramer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-OSHKOSH
- The Falcons got on the board first at 1:48 when Maggie Koehler snuck one in past the Titan keeper on a pass from Erika Lagoon.
- The Falcons outshot the Titans in the first half 7-5.
- In the second half the Titans tied it up 1-1 at 49:26 when Addie Schmitz found the top 90.
- The Falcons again outshot the Titans in the second half getting 10 shots on compared to the Titans seven.
- With a tie after regulation the match went to overtime with the Falcons putting the pressure on offensively as they had three shots on goal.
- In the second half, the Titans got the upper hand on shots getting three compared to the Falcons one.
- Overall the Falcons had 21 shots with 13 being on goal.
- Abby Soderholm led the team with seven shots and Kayla Windingstad had five shots with four being on goal.
