ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team suffered a 0-1 nonconference road loss at the College of St. Benedict Sunday afternoon.

WHAT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons started the match out with Abby Soderholm putting a shot on goal in the first twenty seconds.
- The Blazers would take control of the offense putting up 13 shots in the first half and another 13 in the second.
- It was at 65:16 when Blazer forward Megan Thompson dribbled past the Falcon keeper to put away the only goal of the match.
- The Falcons had twelve shots in the game with three being shots on goal.
- Abby Soderholm and Kari Rollo led the offense for the Falcons with four shots a piece. Each were also able to get one of their shots on goal.
- Falcon keeper Haley Crosby had eight saves in her ninety minutes of play. She gave up only one goal.
THE OPPOSITION:
- The Blazers had 26 shots in the match with nine of them being on goal.
- Jenna Kleason contributed for six of the Blazer shots and Megan Thompson would have four with three being on goal.
LOOKING AHEAD:
