Box Score St. Paul, Min. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls Women's basketball team jumped out to a 41-20 lead at the half, and went into the Christmas break with a 75-63 win over St. Catherine's.
Brynn Liljander scored 22 points for the Falcons to help lead the offensive attack.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UNIVERSITY OF ST. CATHERINE'S
- Back-to-back 3-pointers from Brynn Liljander and Taylor Karge gave the Falcons an early 8-2 lead.
- St. Catherine's crawled back to 8-7 at one point, but the Falcons finished the 1st quarter on a 13-0 run to lead 21-7. Anna Rollag had two 3-pointers during the run.
- For most of the 2nd quarter the squads traded baskets, but a late 11-3 run by the Falcons pushed the lead to 41-20 at the half.
- The 3rd quarter saw St. Catherine's make a run as they outscored the Falcons 22-9, to cut the lead to 8 points going into the 4th quarter.
- The 4th quarter saw the Falcons push the lead back to double-digits. Brynn Liljander scored 10 points during the quarter, 6 of them during the early stages of the 4th, to help keep UW-River Falls in the lead.
- Taylor Karge scored 12 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds.
- Crystal Pearson had 11 points to along with 5 rebounds.
