RIVER FALLS, Wis.  (uwrfsports.com) - Senior guard Brynn Liljander has been named the WIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.  

Liljander averaged 19.0 points per game and shot 15-of-26 (57.7 percent) from the floor as the Falcons went 2-0 during the week. She was 6-of-12 from beyond the arc and added seven rebounds. In a 68-47 victory over Luther College (Iowa) on Dec. 9, she was 7-of-12 (58.3 percent) from the floor and scored 17 points. Against Concordia College-Moorhead (Minn.) on Dec. 10, Liljander had 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting (57.1 percent) to help UW-River Falls to a 70-60 triumph.
