CHICAGO, Ill. (uwrfsports.com) - The UW-River Falls volleyball team traveled to Chicago, Illinois this past weekend to partake in the North Park Invite. The Falcons had another strong performance and ended the weekend at 3-1 and finishing second in the tournament standings.
 
THE RUNDOWN AGAINST NEBRASKA WESLEYAN

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons took all three sets beating Nebraska Wesleyan 26-24, 25-14, and 25-14.
• Dakotah Poitra led the Falcons with 13 kills. Hannah Striggow followed with 12 kills and Amara Meyer finished the match with 11 kills.  
• Raven Klein had a match high of 37 assists.
• Hannah Striggow led the Falcons with 22 digs. Hannah Robb had 16 digs and Mallory griffin finished with 15 digs.

 
THE OPPOSITION

• Kennedy Hegert had a match high of 30 digs.
• Taylor Crandall led the Prairie Wolves with 27 assists.
• The Prairie Wolves had a match high of 79 digs.

 
THE RUNDOWN AGAINST AURORA UNIVERSITY

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons only loss on the weekend came from Aurora University. The Falcons lost 18-25, 22-25, and 18-25.
• Hannah Striggow had 12 kills, Amara Meyer followed with 10, and Dakotah Poitra finished with 9.
• Raven Klein had another great performance finishing with 32 assists.
• Mallory Griffin and Hannah Robb led the Falcons with 11 digs, and Raven Klein followed with 7.

 
THE OPPOSTION

• Peyton McKenzie had a match high of 15 kills. Katie Vondra and Alexis Hammond finished with 11.
• Emily Lines also had a match high of 42 assists.
• Katie Vondra led the Spartans with 16 digs.

• The Falcons dominated against the Vikings winning 25-17, 32-30, and 26-24.
• The Falcons led the match with a hitting percentage of .252
• Amara Meyer had a match high of 7 blocks. Hannah Striggow finished with 3 and Raven Klein ended with 2.
• Dakotah Poitra led the Falcons with 12 kills. Amara Meyer followed with 11 and Mallory Griffin finished with 10.
• Hannah Robb had a match high of 18 digs. Dakotah Poitra had 13 and Mallory Griffin had 10.

• Lauren Wiltsie had a match high of 19 kills for the Vikings. Niki Ahlstrand finished with 7 and Reagan Clement followed with 6.

• The Falcons had another strong performance against the Buccaneers. UWRF won 25-8, 25-14, and 25-12.
• Dakotah Poitra and Hannah Robb shared a match high of 13 digs. Raven Klein followed with 10.
• Raven Klein led the Falcons with 33 assists.
• Dakotah Poitra and Amara Meyer shared a match high of 9 kills. Mallory Griffin was a close second with 8 kills.

 
THE OPPOSITION

• Abby Gessell led the Buccaneers with 12 digs. Amanda Baran finished with 8 and Josie Lindsey Robbins finished with 7.
• Taylor Lewis had 3 kills in the match and also led the team with 4 blocks.
