Jared Brandenburg and
Jordan Crockett both set school records in meets held Friday and Saturday.
Brandeburg set the steeplechase record while Crockett set the record in the 200.
Brandenburg ran a 9:00.78 in the steeplechase at the Keeler Invitational at North Central, Ill., College. He broke the old record of 9:10.68 set by Jason Phillippi in 2008.
Crockett had two strong races at the Eagle Open at UW-La Crosse. He set the record in the 200 with a time of 21:57.The previous record was 21.74 set by Wees Kennedy in 2003. Crockett also won the 100 with a time of 10.70.
Michael Woodward had two strong efforts in the field events. He won the long jump with a leap of 22-4 1/4 and he finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 46-11 3/4.
Victor Bowen led a strong group of Falcons in the 800 with a second place finish in 1:55.51.
Some members of the team will compete in the La Crosse Qualifier on Thursday at UW-La Crosse.
