Some 137 stuffed animals were donated by all of the great fans during Saturday's Falcon Athletics Teddy Bear Round Up!

The stuffed animals were collected at the men's and women's basketball games at the Karges Center and men's and women's hockey games at Hunt Arena. Many fams brought in several stuffed animals.

All of the stuffed animals will be given to the River Falls Area Hospital emergency room and birthing departments for use as long as the supply lasts.

"Falcon Athletics wants to thank everyone who donated," said Falcon Sports Information Director, Jim Thies. "We're hoping that when a child gets one of the stuffed animals it will bring some comfort, and a smile, to his or her face. It was a special day and I hope everyone invloved knows that they have made a difference in a child's life."
