Highlights of Coach O's 22 Year Falcon Coaching Career

Falcon Coach John O'Grady coached his last game with the Falcons on Nov. 13 when the Falcons won a thrilling come-from-behind 45-42 game at UW-Eau Claire.

John dedicated his life to teaching and coaching Falcon football players for 22 years. He has taught his team members many of life's lessons and has watched them develop into individuals who have been contributors to their community and country. Not only has John coached at UWRF, but he also played for the Falcons from 1972-75. Including his years as an assistant coach, John has been involved in Falcon football and UWRF for 31 years. His 105 wins is second all-time at UWRF and sixth in the history of the WIAC. He has coached 91 Falcons to All-WIAC recognition, 12 All-Americans and five WIAC football Scholar-Athletes. He led the 1998 team to the WIAC Championship and the 1995 and 1996 teams to the NCAA playoffs. John was named the WIAC Coach of the Year in 1995 and he was inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2008. John's wife is Jody and they have three children; Lindsay, Jaclyn and Logan.
